How to make Pad Thai Noodles?

One of the most common Thai food is the Pad Thai Noodle. This dish is served as street food as well as a part of the Thai cuisine. If you want to try your cooking skills on any international cuisine food then this dish is one of the easiest to make with a variety of nutritional values. Here is all you need to make this Thai dish as a member of the dinner and lunch menu.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cup boiled flat rice noodles
  2. 1 red chilli, sliced
  3. 1 stick of lemongrass, sliced
  4. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  5. 2 spring onions, chopped
  6. 1 tbsp oil
  7. 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  8. salt to taste
  9. 1 1/2 tbsp red chilli sauce
  10. 1 tbsp soya sauce
  11. 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  12. 3 tbsp roasted peanuts, half crushed
  13. Lemon juice to taste
  14. 1/2 green capsicum, cut lengthwise
  15. 1/2 red capsicum, cut lengthwise
  16. 1 tbsp tamarind paste

Recipe:

Soak the rice flat noodles/pad Thai noodles in water for about 10 minutes and then drain out all water before using the noodles.

Heat oil in a wok.

Add the ginger-garlic paste, lemongrass pieces saute it.

Then add green capsicum and red capsicum.

Next, add bean sprouts and sliced birds eye chilli and saute the ingredients.

Add the red chilli sauce, soy sauce, tamarind paste and brown sugar and mix everything well.

Once the sugar melts, add the noodles.

Add some spring onions and the leaves, salt to taste, and lime juice.

And the coarsely ground peanuts and give it a last mix.

Pad thai noodles are ready to serve.
