  1. 1 lb Fresh French Green Beans
  2. 2 tbsp olive oil
  3. 2 tbsp butter
  4. 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  5. 1/4 cup (2 oz) fresh lemon juice
  6. 1 tbsp zest of lemon
  7. salt and pepper to taste
  8. onion (optional)


Add green beans in hot water.

After boiling remove it in cold water just to maintain its green color.

Then add oil and butter to a pan.

Then add garlic and saute it.

Then add beans to it.

Add lemon zest then salt to taste.

Mix it well and add sliced onion.

Add a large lemon juice and pepper.

And it is ready, remove it in a serving plate and garnish with lemon.
