  1. Water – 3-4 cups
  2. Salt – 3 tsp
  3. Gobi Florets – from 1 Small Head
  4. Maida / Plain Flour – 4-5 tbsp
  5. Corn Flour – 6-8 tbsp
  6. Salt – 1 tsp
  7. Water – to make a paste
  8. Oil – to deep fry the gobi

For the Sauce:

  1. Oil – 2-3 tbsp
  2. Garlic – 2-3 tbsp
  3. chopped Green Chili – 1 tbsp
  4. Onion – 1 small chopped
  5. Salt – as per taste
  6. Black Pepper – as per taste
  7. Light Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp (use 1 tsp less if dark)
  8. Chili Sauce – 1 tbsp
  9. Spring Onion Greens – a handful
  10. Ketchup – 1/2 tbsp
  11. Corn Flour – 1 tsp
  12. Water – 1/2 cup


Boil gobi in the water adds salt to the. about 3-4 minutes.

Remove it and drain water.

Take cornflour in a bowl add maida and salt, mix it.

Add some water and make a thick paste,

Add more water and make a thin paste like this.

Add gobi and mix it well.

Add 2 spoon of corn starch and mix it well.

Deep fry in the oil.

It is done, remove it.

Deep fry it again till golden brown.

Add oil in a pan and add garlic. saute it.

Then add green chilli and onion.

Add salt and pepper.

And soya sauce and chilli sauce. then add ketchup and spring onion.

Add some water. Now make a paste of cornflour in a small bowl. add in the pan.

Then add gobi in the sauce.

Mix it well, and remove it in a serving plate.

Garnish with spring onion.
