  1. 2 1/2 to 3 lbs chicken legs
  2. 1 tsp garlic powder
  3. 1 tsp onion powder
  4. 1 tsp smoked paprika
  5. 1 tsp salt-free lemon pepper
  6. 1 tsp salt (I used sea salt)


  1. 1 cup (8oz) ketchup
  2. 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  3. 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  4. 1/4 cup (2 oz) honey
  5. 1 1/2 tsp reserved dry rub


Take chicken legs in a large bowl.

In a small bowl take garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt-free lemon pepper, and salt.

Mix them all well.

Rub these spices in the chicken legs. Keep half spice aside.

Transfer it to a baking tray. bake for 45 to 50 minutes.

To BBQ sauce take ketchup in a pan.

Add soya sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey and the spice we kept aside.

Mix it all on low heat. simmer for a minute.

After 50 minutes our chicken is ready.

Apply BBQ sauce on the chicken. and bake again for 5 minutes.
