- 1 lb Fresh French Green Beans
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup (2 oz) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp zest of lemon
- salt and pepper to taste

Add green beans in hot water.
After boiling remove it in cold water just to maintain its green color.
