Ingredients:

  1. 2 lbs of ground beef
  2. 1 Tbsp of Olive Oil
  3. 1 Onion, finely diced
  4. 3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
  5. 4 Slices of Italian bread, crust cut off
  6. ½ cup of Milk
  7. ¼ cup of Chopped Parsley
  8. 1 cup of Parmiggiano Reggiano
  9. 2 Eggs
  10. Dash of Worcestershire Sauce
  11. Salt and Pepper, to taste

For the Glaze:

  1. 3/4 cup of Ketchup
  2. 2 Tbsp of Tomato Paste
  3. ¼ cup of Brown Sugar
  4. 1 tsp of Dried Mustard
  5. 1 tsp of Paprika
  6. 1 tsp of Granulated Garlic
  7. 1 tsp of Granulated Onion

Recipe:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a sauté pan over medium heat, cook the onion and garlic in the olive oil for about 6 to 8 minutes or until soft and translucent, allow to cool completely.

    In a small bowl, put the slices of bread.

Pour the milk over them, let them sit for a few minutes or until the bread soaks up all the milk.

Then In a large bowl, take the milk-soaked bread.

Add eggs, salt, and pepper.

    Add Parmiggiano, Worcestershire sauce.

Cooked onion and garlic, parsley.

Mix everything well.

Add beef and mix until everything is well combined but don’t over mix and compact the mixture too much otherwise your meatloaf will be tough.

    Place a cooling rack over a baking sheet (or use a broiler pan) and place the meat mixture onto it and form it into a loaf, set aside.

Take Ketchup in a small bowl add Brown Sugar and Dried Mustard.

Then add Tomato Paste, Paprika, Granulated Garlic, Granulated Onion.

Mix it well.

Spread this on loaf evenly then Bake the meatloaf for 50 minutes.

    Then smear the rest of the sauce on top and put it back in the oven to bake for another 15 minutes.

Slice and serve it.
